I often wonder if the feeling I experience when I capture the perfect image of my subject is similar to the quarterback who throws a touchdown pass, or the basketball player who sinks the game-winning bucket just before the buzzer.
Capturing that fleeting moment in my subject always energizes me. This desire to immortalize spirit and energy is what compels my photography. I, too, hope others take the same pleasure in my work without ever knowing the subjects I photograph. |
